In June of 2018, the EU decided to fund the TRANS-SENIOR project. TRANS-SENIOR is a European Training Network, as selected through the EU’s Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions within Horizon2020 (The EU Research and Innovation programme). More specifically, TRANS-SENIOR is a European Joint Doctorate network, meaning that each early stage researcher trained through the project will receive a PhD-degree from two universities. The TRANS-SENIOR project is coordinated by KU Leuven (University of Leuven) in Belgium and unites 15 organisations from 7 different countries.
