Dr. Dietmar Ausserhofer
Dietmar Ausserhofer is a nurse and health services researcher at the college of Healthcare Professions Claudiana in Bolzano/Bozen, northern Italy, focusing on patient safety and quality of care across healthcare settings. He is a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Nursing Science (Department of Public Health) at the University of Basel (Switzerland) where he did his PhD in 2012 as part of the EU’s FP7 funded study “Nurse forecasting in Europe (RN4CAST)”. He is an associate editor of BMC Health Services Research.
